Hi Elliot
The first part of your question, I learned to my very dear detriment. I hit reply all accidentally to an e-mail sent to me by a friend. This was due to my visual impairment. By replying and hitting Reply All, the reply went to fher and her Manager which got her in terrible trouble as she should not have been sharing the content of the e-mail with me.

Now to the latter part of your question. On this list if you hit Reply to Chris, you are actually replying to the list as this is set up in such a way that the reply is not going directly to the person but to everyone on the accessuk list. In order to reply privately to Chris, you would have to take his e-mail address from the Properties and reply privately to him. Hope this helps.

Eleanor

Hi guys,
I'm a little confused with the differences with reply and reply to all, so
was wondering if someone could help me.
As far as I understand, reply is supposed to reply to the user to sent a
message, where as reply to all is supposed to send a message to everyone
in the CC list.
I'll give you an example of where I'm confused.
On this list, if for example Chris sent a message, naturally I'd assume
that the reply option would send an e-mail to him personally, where as
the reply to all option would send a message to the entire list, but both
commands seem to do the same here.
Can anyone enlighten me as to what's goign on?
Thanks a lot guys,
Elliott.
