Hello Jackie,

I hope it won't be long before they update the 996 channel to match the
new numbers. Strictly speaking, the two changes could have been made
simultaneously.

What's this rocker? I didn't know about that, so never use 996, because
I thought it would take a programme's worth of time to wade through the
lot to get to the number you want.

Best,
Clive

Hi Clive

Yes indeed, I agree. I put in 993 and got nothing, so wondered if the
box had locked up as it sometimes can. But when jumping back to the
tennis on 102, it allowed me to do this. In the end, we put in 996,
which is the audible channel list page, then moved the up and down
channel rocker to 993, and there was ITV with AD. Not sure how that
worked out, but that's how we did it. Now I know it has moved, I can
jump straight to 973. But you make a valid point!

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

Hi Steve,
Certainly when we select 103 we don't get AD but when we select 993 (no2
973), we do.

As for your other point, if you'd only ever see "channel number not
available" when you punch in a number and nothing happens, you're right,
it doesn't matter. If a failure would get another message if, say, your
remote batteries were low, then it's not so obvious, because you'd want
to know the difference.

Best,
Clive
