Hi Audrey.
As you know I purchased the Soundblaster 24 bit external sound card and
although I wish later to try and use the Optical connections, I am currently
struggling with the Line-In settings for GoldWave. I have gone into
GoldWave and told it that I am using the Soundblaster and have checked the
line-in box but still, I cannot get the sound through my soundcard.
I have a phono connection from my SKY box going into a minijack which in
turn plugged into the Line-In of the soundcard and I cannot hear a thing.
It's most probably a volume settings thing, but I'm really stuck. I've
tried everything, but still, cannot get a signal through the card.
Any ideas?
