lol re spelling error. The problem with assuming the lowest common
denominator is that many kinds of information just don't work in such
situations, and if the features weren't used they would simply become
unavailable. This would slow down those who invest time in learning how to
do things. Why should those people be held back? Yes, I agree that things
shouldn't be made more complex than needed, but sometimes simplicity doesn't
work. I also think some things are more logical on the new Tesco site than
the old!

But accessibility and usability has to consider the lowest element of 
expertise in visitor interaction, and that is important to remember.

Not being a TESCO customer whatsoever, I am only commenting on the 
principals of accessibility and usability.

I would urge people to vote with your feet though if they are upset, TESCO 
aren't the only grocer offering online shopping. Granted their quality of 
food is dreadful and if that is what you prefer, then carry on.
