Yeah, Barbara, that's probably a good idea after you've tried everything else.
The MAC address thing Nokia advised you of didn't make much sense either. By
the sound of it, you haven't configured your router to filter MAC addresses in
the first place, so it's not logical that your router is blocking your phone's
MAC address.

Hi All
Those of you who have been following my Nokia N79 WLAN problems on here,
thanks for your patience and advice. Today I took my N79 into town and tried to
access to HotSpots at both Starbucks and McDonalds. I could connect to the
networks but not go online. I was in the past able to surf using tese access
points with other phones. I can onlyconclude therefore that there is a fault
with the phone. I will be sending it back to Nokia to be repaired or replaced.
Now, I begin the search on the Nokia Website to find out how to do this!
