Hi Mark.
Windows 7 is very good at detecting and installing device drivers. But it gets better. If a suitable driver cannot be found it will search for, download and install the latest drivers from the internet, all automatically. So no need to hunt down drivers anymore. I was amazed that I was able to just connect my printer/scanner up to my Windows 7 64 bit laptop for it to then go out and get appropriate drivers.
Chat soon.

Hi all.

Does Win 7 home premium 64 bit have any kind of plug and play ability? Will
I need to find the drivers for my printer scanner, for instance, or can I
just plug it in and let windows find a driver for it?
