Hi Jeff,

Ribbons are the new way Microsoft have decided to go to replace the
drop-menus. They are a pain in the proverbial if you don't have the 'use
virtual ribbon menus' enabled in JAWS, but tend to operate similar to the
drop-down menus when this is enabled. They take a little while to get used
to as the commands have been moved around alittle, but once you get use to
them they are fine. A sighted person would see something like a ribbon
across the top of the screen with all the icons depicting the functions, but
even sighted persons find them confusing at first, so no difference there
then.

John.

Hi I have 2003, can you believe it.
I can't find the disks and don't remember the pin.
So it looks like a new one.
Actually what are ribbons?
