Hi, Be aware though that this means JAWS will say nothing automatically throughout the whole program. So not only the clock will stop, but everything else. You can also solve this by setting a frame around the clock area and setting it not to echo. You can do this from Jaws Quick Settings dialog (Ins V)>General Options>Screen Echo. Just make sure Chess Elite is in focus when you make your change so no other programs get affected.
