[access-uk] Re: iPod shuffle ready to go?

When you use Podcasting content with iPodder it creates a seperate category
for that content. You still need iTunes at the moment to get it onto iPod
though as all you are doing in iPodder is downloading MP3s you could
probably use Anapod for the job, I haven't tried that. Right now when you
download material it automatically brings up iTunes to manage the content
onto iPod itself.

I suppose the trick would be if that's all you wanted you could clear the
music categories on the iPod leaving just the Podcasting one, therefore
navigation nightmare you may be spared.

iPodder may do with a little scripting but fundamental flaws there don't
seem to be. Actual Podcasting sites are much like any other site and the
individual podcaster's pages will vary from useable to not at all they are
just a shop window or ego trip for their podcast.

So, is it possible then to have an iPod but use only podcasting as content?
Is that accessible even if iTunes is not?
