Hi Martin,
I really wouldn't risk trying to run the two together. I once tried, and it worked fine until one day the Norton I had downloaded an update which somehow clashed with the other antivirus and I had to get someone to format the whole computer because I couldn't access the Internet and Norton wouldn't responde to anything. On the subject of security, I agree, the choices we have are getting less and less. I get Computer Shopper from Tnauk over there, and they recommended Steganos. Tried it, quite inaccessible. I've found Trend Micro to be quite accessible, but CS rated it right near the bottom for performance. I wonder what Kaspersky would be like? I probably don't want to stay with Trend Micro, but I've also tried F-Secure, and could also not use many of its features. I shall hopefully be able to try more products so that I can give feedback, but I'd love to know what security suites some of you guys are using without problems?
Ari

Subject: [access-uk] running two anti virus products on one system?

Hi list:

after the recent reviews of nod 32 v3 and accessibility, I am thinking of
trying pc tools anti virus on my system, I already have nod 32 2.7 which is
accessible. if I download and install pc tools anti virus to see if it is
accessible, as the other pc tools products are, even if it is with the jaws
curser, will this affect my system? or will I have to uninstall one anti
virus product, install another, test it, then revert back? thanks. Just a
personal note here, I've only just junked Norton internet security because
Symantec's 2007 version was inaccessible. pity if nod 32 has to go the same way. is it me, or are our choices of accessible security packages becoming
limited?

thanks.

Hope to hear from you soon.

From Martin.
