Hi Steve.

OK, the manual is not accessible, but who cares? A lot of this information is available by searching on the net although I do agree Samsung could do better. Last time we discussed this issue with the manual, I explained that the manual was designed to be easily followed through by a sighted person and to give them a hands on multimedia experience with learning their machine.

Hi Caroline,

I know of no list. The trouble is that the NC10's manual is not accessible,
unlike the MSI Wind's manual. Glad I bought the right computer <Smile>.

All the best

Steve

Does anyone have a list of all the FN key combinations on the NC10? I have been unable to find one and don't want to experiment too much in case I turn

off something important, especially as it isn't my machine!

Also, if we use an external USB keyboard to access the NC10, is there any
key combination which would emulate the FN key, or would I have to go back
to the NC10's keyboard if I wanted to do anything which required the use of
the FN key?

Thanks,

Caroline.

I hit a key stroke combination accidkentally a year ago in an Open
University exam and my computer started talking to me in Italian.
fortunately after some time I worked out how to change this back.

Just out of interest, I just hit the key stroke Fn and F3, and it
launched Internet Explorer on this HP laptop! Turning the touchpad off
clearly is a different keystroke, and must vary from manufacturer to
manufacturer -

Hi John,

The only down side to this is that it turns off the left/right buttons
as
well as the touch pad. A quick Fn+F3 turns it back on though if you
need
them. It also doesn't remember the setting between boots.

All the best

Steve
