I hit a key stroke combination accidkentally a year ago in an Open University exam and my computer started talking to me in Italian. fortunately after some time I worked out how to change this back.

Just out of interest, I just hit the key stroke Fn and F3, and it launched Internet Explorer on this HP laptop! Turning the touchpad off clearly is a different keystroke, and must vary from manufacturer to manufacturer -Andy----- Original Message ----- From: "Steve Nutt" <steve@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, March 02, 2009 7:57 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: the msi wind switching of the keypadHi John, The only down side to this is that it turns off the left/right buttons as well as the touch pad. A quick Fn+F3 turns it back on though if you need them. It also doesn't remember the setting between boots.
