To match WayFinder you need to buy Trekker as opposed to Trekker Breeze and
that costs over £700.
I bought one second-hand but found it difficult to find certain areas and
although the battery life is better than using the mobile, I opted to stick
with WayFinder after all.
I think the price of the HumanWare products is ridiculous but it is a
minority market of course so will always be so.

Hi Chris.

Yes, wayfinder access can do both, you can see what's around you, plot 
routes from one place to another, explore a map of where you are using your 
phone's arrow keys, bookmark points of interest as favourites not to mention

creating your own and routing between them.  To be honest, I've never seen a

breeze, from what I've heard though its a self contained gps navigation 
system so she'd be carrying around another device.
