Hi David.

It may be the case that the speech files on the hard drive have become corrupted; this has happened to me on a couple of occasions now which required me to reformat then reinstall them. Firstly, check that you haven't by happenstance accidentally disabled speech by going in to the menu. You will probably need sighted help for this. The options you need are in settings/accessibility settings. If speech is turned on but you are getting no feedback, copy the speech file relevant to your box to a pen drive and then plug this in to one of the USB ports. You should then be given the option to install speech files in the accessibility menu. If this doesn't work either, your only option is to reformat the hard drive and then reinstall speech from pen drive.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Hi

My t-vonics box has stopped talking, but still works in all other
respects.

Any ideas how I may be able to get it talking again without sighted
help. I did try the key sequence suggested in the instruction book,
but nothing happened.

Any help would be appreciated.

David
