Hi David.

This is simple to resolve. If you have the DTR-500HD, click on this link:
http://www.tvonics.com/software-upgrade/dtr-hd500

Once you've downloaded the TTS engine file, copy the file to a pen drive and insert it in to one of the 2 USB ports on the box. Go in to the TVonics menu system and under settings, accessibility settings there should be an option to install speech files. Note that this option will only appear if a pen drive is inserted.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Subject: [access-uk] t-vonics not talking

Hi

Further to my request for help regarding the t-vonics not talking to me, I
have now found out that the speech files are missing.

I have tried to download the file from the t-vonics site, but it will not
download.

I have phoned RNIB for help and am waiting for a response. In the meantime,
is there any other way I can obtain the voice files or can anyone suggest
why I cannot download them?

Thanks.

David
