Hi Jo,
Try turning off your phone and then turn it on again. You may find that the
voice will come back on again.

<>Hi Joe
I have this with my iPhone 6 sometimes, where it just doesn’t speak for no
particular reason. What I have learnt to do is plug in my headphones, reboot
the phone, and all is well afterwards.
Kind regards,
