Is it anything to do with dcm? Maybe you need to download some up-to-date
drivers?...I remember reading something about systems running more than one
version of access technology being prone to crashes and sudden reboots, but
a new version of dcm or something was released to remedy the problem.

steve, it does it with all versions of jaws that I have on my PC leading
back to 4.5

This is a problem I've only had in the last 9 months.

Since that time I should say that I have also installed ZoomText on my PC.
ZoomText also causes my computer to closedown when run with JAWS. I'm
running Zoomtext version 8.0

I should add that ZoomText is rarely switched on but I guess it's there in
my computer's system even if it's not on.

Thanks for your thoughts.

...Damon
