Hi Damon,

Actually, being more serious for a moment, have you installed the latest
security patch for Internet Explorer?  It was sent to the Windows Update
last Thursday, and it has made my system even more stable with IE, so it
might be worth a shot.  It even made Wineyes load web pages faster, so I
reckon they have been tweaking MSAA.

steve, it does it with all versions of jaws that I have on my PC leading
back to 4.5

This is a problem I've only had in the last 9 months.

Since that time I should say that I have also installed ZoomText on my PC. 
ZoomText also causes my computer to closedown when run with JAWS. I'm
running Zoomtext version 8.0

I should add that ZoomText is rarely switched on but I guess it's there in
my computer's system even if it's not on.
