Not the piston pump I'm referring to, it was self powered by the fluid
pressure itself.

only 3 parts, no pulsation.
The piston pump can be powered by the gas pressure from the gas
generator. Looks like the screw pump requires either electric motor -
with heavy batteries - or a gas turbine, which could be more complex.
Everybody has their own preferences of course, somebody would prefer
electrical power, somebody would have no problem making a turbine, and
somebody would deal with pulsation with some bellows.
