I've been watching this guy for the last 4 months, he had 3 engines
originally, the highest price one is left at $10K.
The problem with these engines is they're rated for only 20 hrs TBO. Not
very good considering they have a separate oil lubrication system unlike
the chainsaw trpe with 5% oil in the fuel. The WR24 uses a 'total loss'
lubrication system where bleed air pressurizes the oil tank which is that
cylinder on the underside of the engine. All that said, I'd love to have
one/two. The -8 model is rated for 240 LbF, not sure how they get another
50 Lbs of thrust out of the same geometry w/o increased RPM.
Yup, nice engine typical of Williams. Their fans are nice too.

Could be a good powerplant or combined cycle core for an air launch
project. It even has an alternator.
