All my melting and casting has been done with hybrid grains - no oxidizer.
The thermal processing of the urethane based stuff (recently discussed) was
always well below 100deg C ie. just enough to encourage the liberation of
loitering moisture under vacuum conditions... well... to assist with the
processing of mix as well.

Agreed that hands-off melting and casting seems like a good idea, but from
Troy it sounds like that is fairly well sorted out already.
