I would love to use some hard or soft metal o-rings but I can't find them
anywhere in small quantities. I'm going to try using an AN901-6A (aluminum
crush washer) for my next LN2 cold test. A publication I found specifically
mentioned not to use them with boss ports but with my dry testing, it looked
good to me and it might good enough work for cryo at low pressures. K-Seals
would be ideal but I was unable to purchase them in small quantities the last
time I tried.

Wouldn't designing your system with stainless steel O rings eliminate the
issue? We use them on our oxidizer flanges including cryogenic and they seem to
work quite well.
