That's not 100% obvious, especially since a zero-carbon source of 24x7 power could reduce his market for lithium batteries. If the supplier in question were a committee-managed operation like, say, Boeing, you could be pretty sure that a pile of cash on the table for a bunch of launches would trump arguments about corporate priorities. But Musk is one guy with his own agenda, and he's less predictable.
