How about whip cream grade?
You'd be amazed at what can end up in "food grade" materials when they're
processed by the kiloton, and I expect nitrous is no exception.
(Approximate quote from a friend, about an experience many years ago:
"The dead rat in the wheat was seriously embarrassing, to put it mildly.
I swore then and there that if I ever had to do a public demo again, the
'incoming' material would be a batch I'd thoroughly screened and cleaned
the previous day...")
