The smoke point tells you where enough of it evaporates to produce a
visible smoke.  We're interested what it takes to make the oil
polymerize and clog cooling passages, and that's mostly a matter of
how many double bonds it has.  The USDA numbers are: 17.7% saturated,
48.3% monounsaturated, 33.4% polyunsaturated.  That isn't promising.
