Indeed, LOx rocks, I was handling it at age 14 in rocket systems. Hardware
stores carry LOx compatible materials like aluminum and copper tubing,
Teflon/PTFE tape and brass and stainless steel ball valves with PTFE seats
and stem seals, all are all LOx/cryo compat.
Just avoid ferrous metals. There's more but that's the basics.

You have to understand materials compatibility, cryo effects on mechanisms
and materials, and your cleaning procedures need to be very thought out.
The biggest issue is cost. LOX/oxygen and cyro compatibility comes at a
premium.
Quite a few universities use LOX and are safe and successful.

fire and its slow and benign, mostly.
Pure oxygen is soooo far from this friendly stuff it is astounding and
should be fearsome! and liquified or concentrated oxygen - hoo boy., look
