Dear ECCO members
In the last month or so my cellar floor has become wet (40 Everton) after 30
years of being just very slightly damp. I have had a number of inspections,
including Yorkshire Water to check for leaks, and they are all saying it is
because the water table is rising due to the increase in rainfall over the last
few years. I can either put up with a wet cellar or have it 'tanked' at
considerable cost.
Is anyone else having the same experience?
Also has anyone had their cellar tanked or waterproofed and if so by whom?
Any experiences, tips, warnings or reassurances would be very welcome.
Thanks
