[etni] 4 pointers and the PROJECT

Hi out there:
I am teaching a senior 4-point class this year and find that they are totally
incapable of doing the PROJECT [alone].
Sure, they can 'cut and paste' and put together something that might pass for
a/the project, but in reality the material out there on the Net is way beyond
their comprehension.
If/When they use Babylon to 'translate', the results are way off base, although
often amusing.
Anyone have a workable solution? The difference in the ability levels between 4
and 5 pointers is huge. Are other English teachers finding this as well?
