Shalom Chaverim/Chaverot I am answering as a proud English Inspector and will try to make this short and sweet. It is perfectly OK to vent and to use ETNI for these purposes but PLEASE, lets get our facts right. a. Dr. Judy Steiner is constantly fighting for her teachers to receive what is duely deserving as payment for HARD WORK. She obviously does this with the officials in the Ministry and has openly made herself heard on this issue at meetings in which the Irgun and R. Erez have attended. b. The HOTS program has changed many a time BECAUSE of feedback from the field. If you have not been asked to give feedback, then maybe it is because you have not attended one of the many courses that have and are taking place. c. Lets get our facts totally in order - In 2003 the irgun agreed to the projects. last year they started the sanctions without any negotiations... so much for the irgun.. "In fact, as it became clear during the recent HOTS debate, one of the greatest teacher grievances was that the Inspectorate did not seem to be willing to consider valid concerns and/or objections about the program from the teachers in the field." Batya "The sham is going on with this endless discussion about honesty. The dishonesty and manipulation seems to come from the Ministry of Education, not the teachers who have not done the projects because of sanctions."
