I suggest that the best way to get an inspector to understand what is going
on in the classroom is to make her (or him, but usually her) teach. Let it
be just a quarter schedule, but make sure it's the most challenging class in
the most challenging school in the district, and require the inspector to be
at all staff and grade meetings, required continuing education, etc.,
obviously with her cell number published to each of her students and their
parents just to ensure the full effect.
