Dear Teachers,
My third child is doing Bagrut, and I still, poor me, cannot fathom what
exactly this "Magen" is. Could someone please explain it to me once and for
all?
"Magen," to my feeble mind, means protection. How does the magen protect the
student? To me is just seams like part A of a 2-part bagrut exam, Part A
being called "Magen" and Part B "bagrut" with the final mark the average.
If she gets 60 in the magen, and 100 in the bagrut, she ends up with 80 (if
I understand correctly). This is no help!!!! And v.v.? I am sure I am
missing SOMETHING!
Please help... I need peace of mind!
