not only has there been no official announcement about pay for
checking the logs. (i was told by someone in the MOE a few months ago
that this was done in the pilot, but there is no promise it will
happen in the final program. of course, i hope it will.)

but we are one month and 10 days from the start of the school year,
and there has been NO official announcement of what pieces are to be
taught for the exam (5 pts, 4 pts), exactly what will have to be in
the log (5 pts, 4 pts) and actually we don't have a final program. all
we know is that there are going to be changes made from what was done
in the pilot. and no one has ever seen any program for the 4 pt.
classes, not even a pilot or example of a test.

i understand that the delay in announcing the final program is due,
at least in part, to the MOE wanting to take into consideration the
teachers' comments and request. that is good. but it still is going to
be a problem for teachers (histadrut hamorim members, who are not on
sanctions) to start teaching something without having enough time to
prepare.

why don't you (histadrut members) bring this issue up to your union?
