I read Amotz Assa-El's article in Fridays' JP with interest (and unless I 
missed it, I didn't notice that anyone put up the link, as they did with 
last week's article).

I agree with Mr. Assa-El about teachers' knowledge of what is in the Dovrat 
Report. Of all the teachers with whom I discussed it, NOT ONE had read it. 
Not one! The end of the discussion was always on the lines of "You don't 
know what you're talking about."

I also agree that we are led in and out of strikes, led to reject issues, 
etc. without being asked. We take our revered leader's word for it.

It's easy to hurl abuse at journalists who don't say what we want to hear. I 
think we should be worrying about other things, like the fact that there is 
no strike fund and why.
