----- Original Message ----- From: mush room - mushroomhead.room@xxxxxxxxx Subject: plot? Hi All.. I have 2 questions about a Module D text ( from Practice Papers for Module D). The text is called "Gone With The Wind". (It's a "movie review" as it says in the instructions before the text) 1) What is meant by the question, "What aspects of the plot does the reviewer mention?" Can the answer to this question include the fact that it's a love story? I know that aspects of the plot are usually the setting and the events. Is the kind of story also a plot? 2) The first paragraph begins as follows: " The new DVD edition of the great Hollywood classic "Gone with the Wind" has recently been released. It was with great anticipation that I sat down and watched the epic movie, which won no less than ten Oscars in 1939, an accomplishment previously unheard before. I was not disappointed." Question: What does "It was with great anticipation" refer to? Was he in great anticipation to check the new DVD or to watch the movie? If the student is asked to prove that the writer's opinion of the movie is positive, can the great anticipation be proof? Thank you for your kind help. ----------------------------------------------- ** Etni homepage - http://www.etni.org or - http://www.etni.org.il ** ** for help - ask@xxxxxxxx ** ** to post to this list - etni@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** -----------------------------------------------
