are you sure you aren't talking about my 10th grade 4-5 pt class???? Out of
16 kids, I will be ecstatic if more than 5 of them do 5 points.
To answer your question, in grade 10 they do C in the summer. In grade 11
they do projects in the fall, and then do the Oral Bagrut and D in the
winter (all the project writing gets them prepared for the writing in D).
In summer they do E.
In grade 11, they do F in winter and G in summer.
As for literature - we try and finish up all the 4 point lit by the end of
11th grade, leaving only the play/novel for 12th grade.
The 4 point kids will stop studying English after 11th grade, or they can
redo D and E with the kids from the 3 point group who want to try to
continue to 4 points.
The kids who only do 3 points will finish English after 11th grade.
This is what we usually do - but since my 10th grade group is so weak, I may
have the weak kids only do D in grade 11 (with the stronger kids doing D and
E).
