Subject: RE: 5 point cut-off grade

Any grade above 65 average for 5 pts. is better than taking a 4 point exam.
The bonus for university is calculated as following:
5 x grade = bonus or 4x grade = bonus for 4 point students,
In other words: 5 x 65 = 325 whereas 4 x 80 = 320 or 4 x 90 = 360 (here the
4 point students gets a higher bonus than the weak 5 pointer ). However, the
chances that a student who will get 65 on a 5 point exam, will get a 90 on
the 4 pt. test, are not very high.
BUT: if a student gets less than 65 average in the 5 pt (or 4 pt.) exam, he
won't get a bonus at all!!!!
