Just for the record, schools, or rather teachers, want their students to 
finish the Bagrut in the winter because the kids are basically not around in 
the second semester (too busy with their future lives, I suppose.)  Last 
year, we did the Bagrut in the winter and I felt the the intensive learning 
was wonderful. the marks were better, primarily for the 4-pointers. This 
year, however, is a challenge.
