Hi,
 If a student taking the test justifies using a skill that is not on
the list of 6 HOTS, but is logical and related to the text and the
question, it is accepted.
A teacher teaching the log can teach any 6 HOTS he/she feels are
useful and appropriate for the pieces being taught. The reason the
list was shortened to six is in response to the complaints of many
teachers who felt that teaching so many HOTS explicitly was too hard.
You are welcome to teach as many ( more than 6) as you want to.
