Well said, Bonnie!  I agree with you 100%.  Perhaps if there weren't 7 or 8
units to complete, rather fewer units so that we can dive deep into them,
teachers wouldn't feel so strained.  I really enjoy teaching the log and my
class also runs the entire spectrum (just the way yours does).  But you're
right, there just isn't enough time to teach it all.  I work in a small
school that really doesn't have a whole lot of money, but I've convinced
the principal to give 6 hours next year rather than 4 hours for the 4 and 5
pointers.  I'm definitely looking forward to next year.
