................. I just watched the 2001 HBO television film "Boycott"
and would like to recommend it. It tells the story of the Montgomery Bus
Boycott in all its complexity: the difficult decisions in the face of home
bombings and imprisonment for the participants, the legal strategies, and
evolving leadership. Well-acted portrayals of King, Coretta Scott King,
Ralph Abernathy, Bayard Rustin, and others, with a script reenacting some
of their original speeches.
