One thing people are forgetting too, if you have a windows 8.1 tablet, you can
install your favorite screen reader and to get accessible GPS you can get
Sendero PC GPS. This is a full Windows program that works fine on the Windows
8 tablets.

You'd need a bluetooth receiver for some of those tablets but thats not a big
deal.

How about Microsoft in the Mobile arena? Wouldn't it be GREAT if "we" as
Totally Blind and/or Low Vision users will have the same optionas Ol'Sighty, and be able
to freely CHOOSE from the 3 Top Mobile PlatForms at this point in time providing
Microsoft's Mobile PlatForm is accessible in terms of Text-to-Speech (TTS) features. The
only difference will be the availability of apps offered.

I LOOK Forward to the Freedom to CHOOSE any Mobile PlatForm

How 'bout anybody else??? Just Wondering.

Yes, android is very accessible, I use it on a daily basis. Anyone who still says android is not blind friendly simply has not given it a chance.
