Yes,
The nexus 7 wifi and Samsung Galaxy TAB S wifi have built in GPS receivers as I have used both tablets with Nearby Explorer.
the iPad and iPad mini wifi units do not have built in GPS receivers.

Thanks
Chris

Just seeking clarification. Are you inferring that both Google's Nexus 7
and Samsung's TAB S both have GPS Built In even in their WiFi Models? I
presume the Built In features were exclusive to the Mobile
Carrier/Provider Models.

The iPad and iPad mini only have built in GPS receivers if you get the
version with cellular, WIFI only iPads do not.

Will APH's NearBy Explorer work on Google's Nexus
7? Just wondering. I don't recall whether or not
google's Nexus 7 has a Built In GPS receiver or
if Apple's iPad Mini has a Built In Receiver,
which will allow users to utilize the venefits of
Sendero's Seeing Eye GPS (iOS app). If anybody
has the answers to this question, feel free to respond.
