Most of the time, there is minimal need for an external GPS receiver with
the iPhone. However, the built-in GPS chipset in the iPhone is inferior to
an external receiver, especially one of the new ones with dual satellite
systems.

I'm curious why do you need an external receiver with the iPhone?
