I hope that the new model is more durable. I had to return my first pair
after about 3 months because the left side audio quit. They sent me a
new pair, and after about 6 months, the buttons on the ear pieces do not
work anymore. The whole design is so fragile that I am constantly
worried about breaking them.

Hi,
I use the Aftershokz Bluez for several hours a day to listen to
podcasts. I have never had the problem of them dropping out. I keep my
iPhone 5s in my left pants pocket while using the Bluez.

While I haven't needed the bluetooth version I do have the wired set for
my GPS system. The point is not so much private listening as it is to be
able to hear while not blocking out ambient sounds. While I can't speak
to the Bluetooth function I am pleased with the ability to have the GPS
instructions audible while also being able to hear traffic, sound echoes
and the other audible cues which add to mobility function.
