[gps-talkusers] Question about Program not locating maps

Hello!
I'm new to this list, and I hope it's ok to post this type of question. I just
received my GPS version 3.5. I have installed the program, and it is working
with my receiver fine. However, it will not locate my maps. I downloaded the
maps from my CD that I got two years ago, because I don't have a password to
download the current ones from the website, and I put them in a maps folder on
my compact flash card, but I can't get the program to find them. I also copied
some POI files I had before into this same maps folder on the compact flash
card. What do I need to do for the program to recognize and load my maps?
It's nice to know the speed and direction I'm going, but I'd like to really
know where I am. <grin> Thanks in advance for your assistance.
