Always a good idea to let it drain all the way to zero and it shuts itself
off then wait 30 min before plugging it in to fully recharge it to 100%
before using again. Do this at least once a week to help improve battery
performance.
Remember you only get about 1000 charges, so every time you plug it in you
are using up one of those recharges, best to only recharge when it goes
dead. If you are less than 5% then turn on the flashlight to quickly drain
the remaining juice before charging it, but let the battery cool down first
before charging it.

Some trips experts have told me to improve your battery life of your phone.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] Seeing Eye GPS and IOS 7

Good morning, fellow travelers!
Just wanted to let you know that the Seeing Eye GPS works fine with IOS 7.
I have only taken it out out on Saturn's and my core exercise route, I did
have it with me on Thursday in a cab but hadn't turned the cellular on so
couldn't use the route function.
Now the cell part is on, so, I have been happy with what the app has been
doing for me.
It did use 1/4 of my battery power (OUCH!!!) in walking just over a mile. I
put that down to having a 2 year old iPhone 4S which will be traded in in
about another month so I'll see how the new 5S deals with the battery.
IOS7 seems to really suck the battery life out of this phone at an
astonishing rate even though I close as many apps as I can after using them.
That's all from the desert.
Happy traveling!
