Hi CArol it has now been explained and I will try it out on my tuesday trip to London! I need to press R then A then E or R then A then D for distance as per route rather than as the crow flies! I don't do long routes often and decided either could have been correct so didn't discuss it at the time. Hmmm! I know different routes from A to B can vary considerably but I'm pretty sure the same route was taken on this occasion. -- Carol carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx On Twitter: http://twitter.com/songbird49a ---- Original Message ---- From: tbrowngriffin@xxxxxxx To: gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, April 18, 2010 7:25 AM Subject: [gps-talkusers] distances help pease > Hi > > > My Pk always comes up with wrong distances from point A > to point B, for example, when I create a vehicle route to > Sheffield which is approximately 221 miles it tells me It > is 187 miles, is it calculating as the crow flies or have > I somewhere got settings wrong?
