Mike,

I believe you are talking about the receiver that is about the size of a pack of gum. Any receiver will work fine with Sendero GPS systems. However, our experience with these small receivers is that their patch antennas are too small or don't have enough of a ground plane to compare with the M1000 or other larger receivers. If you are in the middle of the road or in the open, it won't matter which receiver you have. If you are up against a building, you are better off with the M1000 or other high sensitivity receiver using the MTK chipset.
