But as this applies to Look Around, and similar apps, you still have to
have a way to get map data.  You can have the best GPS receiver in the
world, and it's not much more than a paperweight without map data.

Dual Electronics makes a blue tooth receiver for IOS4 devices that does
not
require jail breaking.
Then there is the Bad Elf receiver that plugs in.
Both can be found at Amazon.com.

I don't recall saying for sure that a certain receiver would work with
the
ipod touch, that's pretty much hit or miss. On Android, you can use
bluetooth GPS receivers and they work really well, this does not work on
IOS
without jail breaking the device. Als, the look around app requires an
internet connection, which when walking about you most likely will not
have
with an ipod touch.
