Hi All,

When it comes to listening to speech from the gps, I have tried a lot of solutions including the speaker from Radio Shack, various Bluetooth dongles and wired earphones. I finally decided that my prefered solution is a very cheap pair of earbuds that do not block surrounding sound. You can use only one earbud if you feel more comfortable having one ear completely open. I use both buds and have no problem hearing both the pk and the surrounding sounds. Of course, everyone should make sure that you are not doing anything that keeps you from being able to hear trafic and so on.

Andrea, They may not know what you are talking about, hwen you just mention the word "clip." This clip can be described as the same type of clip that goes onto most cell phones, it attaches to belt loops, purses, and also BrailleNote straps. It is a swivel type of clip, which means it rotates for some odd purpose. It also has a patch that will allow you to mount the speaker to the clip. Also, if you have your BrailleNote with you, with the point of the finger and showing the GPS reciever, you can show them what your intensions are with this clip. Then after all of this, they might get a general understanding of the item that you are looking for. I hope this information will guide you and allow you to track down that clip. Kevin
